This is a privately owned facility that has been in operation since 1986. Our purpose here is to be able to educate people about the animals in this area. We also give people the chance to see these beautiful animals up close in what would be their natural habitats.

The San Juan River peaked in early June and we are seeing air temps warm to the 90’s and river levels dropping.  This means that the pace and excitement level on our rafting trips slows down and becomes more kid friendly.  Piedra river season is a wrap.  West Fork trip will continue for a few more days with a technical creek-style boating emphasis in the upper canyon. Get out and go rafting while you still can!  Tubing season will likely be underway by early July.
